Health & Wellbeing at Work

The impact of stress in our workplace is having a profound affect on our businesses –  both on individuals within our organisations and through our HR departments in trying to manage sickness absence related to stress.  The question is who or what is responsible for this and what can be done to limit the causes?

LYNC HR is presently working with the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) guidelines on tackling work-related stress and how we can work together to reduce stress at work.  With the use of the ‘Stress management competency indicator tool’  we are working with senior managers to better understand our own stress triggers and those of our teams.

Our workshop includes:

  • Legal obligations and what the HSE say
  • Background reasearch and real experiences
  • Evaluating stress, what it is and why we seem to have more of it!
  • Understanding stress triggers
  • Identifying the behaviours and competenties needs to assist ourselves and our team
  • Facilitating participants completion of the Stress management competency indicator tool.
