Mediation

Purpose:

The overall purpose of Mediation is to address issues within the workplace that result in workplace conflict situations.  It assists as a driver for change to reach outcomes that can be achieved by the parties concerned by mutual respect and agreement.

  • Maximise their potential
  • And to become the person they want to be

What Happens:

  • A voluntary process
  • Providing third party involvement
  • To assist in resolving issues of conflict between individuals
  • Resulting in practical solutions being attained
  • Is a structured process
  • Enables individuals involved in the workplace to resolve disputes
  • Identifies common ground that will make for better working relationships

How does it happen:

  • Agreement from the company to support mediation
  • Agreement from the parties involved
  • Willingness in the ‘want’ to find a solution prior to instigating formal internal procedures
